Join Us for Worship

Join us for worship Sunday mornings at 9:30 am or Saturday evenings at 5:30 pm. We begin with a time of instrumental, congregational praise, and then engage in a period of study in God’s word. After singing, children age three through sixth grade may optionally participate in children’s classes. A nursery is available during the entire service for children from birth through 36 months.

At Community Bible Church, we encourage heads of households to decide what is best for their children on Sunday mornings. Therefore, whole families may worship together in the sanctuary for the entire service or may rather choose to participate in the children’s classes after congregational singing. Children’s classes use “God-centered” curricula published by Desiring God Ministries and Great Commission Publications . In these classes, children develop an understanding of a big, powerful God who is marching through history accomplishing His perfect plan and lavishly showering His grace upon His chosen people through the mercy which Christ poured out on the cross.

At CBC, families worshipping together and families partnering in God-centered classes learn to see and savor the satisfying person and work of Jesus Christ.

Community Bible Church is conveniently located just minutes from Scott AFB, O'Fallon, Fairview Heights, Swansea, Shiloh, and Belleville. Click the map above to get directions from your location.

Family Discipleship

At Community Bible Church, we encourage and equip heads of households to lead and train their families to worship Jesus Christ wholeheartedly and in every sphere of life. Family Discipleship consists of locally produced devotional materials to be used for family worship and training, age-integrated mentoring groups for encouragement of families desiring to spiritually train their children at home, and a recommended system of verse memorization and doctrinal teaching based upon the Westminster Catechism. Because all Christians belong to the family of God, Family Discipleship is available and encouraged for singles, married couples, families, old, young, and in-between.

Small Groups

At Community Bible Church, we have a network of small groups which meet at various times, in various locations, and for various topics. These small groups are the primary way in which we care for one another and serve one another. A small group is a group of 6 to 16 people which meets in a home or at the church building for one or more of the purposes of the church: worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry, or evangelism. Within a small group, you can find caring relationships, the opportunity to serve others and be served, help during a crisis, prayer partners, and Bible study.
